Careage Management and Randolph Facility Reach AgreementColonial Manor in Randolph, NE has new home with Careage Management, LLCDate -- January 18th, 2000 Norfolk
– Dan Myers, the President of Careage Management, LLC
announces the acquisition of the Colonial Manor nursing facility in Randolph,
Nebraska. Careage Management is
based in Sioux City, Iowa and owns one other nursing facility in Cherokee, Iowa.
Principals of Careage are Myers, Greg Grupp of Sioux City and Jim Schulte
of Omaha. Steve Freese will continue to be the Administrator of the
facility. No staffing changes will
occur according to Myers. Myers
adds, “We are elated to be associated with this facility. It truly is one of the nicest nursing facilities anywhere.
We look forward to working hand in hand with the staff of Colonial Manor
to make this the premier facility in the State of Nebraska”. Myers also adds that the conversion of one of the
wings to Assisted Living use will begin very soon.
All approvals have been received from the State of Nebraska and
Billerbeck Construction of Randolph has been chosen as the General Contractor
for the project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2000. Myers adds that it will be a challenge taking over
the operation from local owners, however Careage’s philosophy will fit very
well in Randolph. He adds, “We
are a small company and we plan on staying that way.
We will be very active not only in the facility but in the community”
